Job description Mechatronics Technician
As a trained mechatronics technician, you have undergone extensive training in the fields of mechanics, electrical engineering, electronics, control engineering and information technology. As a result of your training, you are both a metalworker and an electrician. As a result, you have now acquired the necessary qualifications to be able to carry out assembly and operating work on mechanical and electrical systems independently and on your own responsibility. In your daily working life, you will mainly be involved in these tasks:
- Assembly, commissioning, operation, repair and maintenance of machines
- Production and testing of components, assembly to complex plant systems
- Installation of control software
- Programming of plant systems, production machines and robots
- Installation and verification of hardware components
Requirements:
- intermediate level of education
- great care
- willingness to learn about the latest developments in the field of electronics and information processing
- flexible for assembly applications with changing locations - good performance in mathematics, physics, computer science, works and technology
- willingness to engage and learn, self-confidence, initiative, ability to work in a team, flexibility and quick comprehension
- good communication skills, good expression skills in German and English
Further training and development opportunities:
Specialization through additional specialist knowledge, technicians specializing in automation technology and a degree in mechanical engineering and plant construction.
